About Dr. Debbie

Debbie White, D.V.M.

Dr. Debbie White is a graduate of Purdue University, where she received both her DVM and a B.S. in Animal Science. She has been a small animal and exotic practitioner in Las Vegas for 29 years. Her favorite areas of veterinary medicine include internal medicine cases, ultrasound, and treating furry exotics, especially ferrets.

She and her husband, Dr. Kurt Mychajlonka, own two veterinary practices and are partners in several other veterinary clinics in the Las Vegas area.

Dr. White currently serves on the Nevada State Board of Medical examiners. She was a Director on the Board of Viticus Group, the parent company of WVC, where she completed her term as president in 2022.

Throughout her career she has been an advocate for pet owner education and was a regular veterinary contributor on local radio and news programs. Since 2008, she has been known as “Dr. Debbie” and answers pet owners’ questions related to pet health on the weekly national radio program, Animal Radio. She is the author of three E- books on Yorkshire terriers, Pugs, and Miniature Schnauzers.

Over her years, she has mentored many associate veterinarians and is proud of their growth and successes along the way. She encourages her entire veterinary team to embrace personal and professional wellness and to discover their individual paths of professional development.

In her free time, she enjoys working out, reading, yoga, and meditation. Family time often includes traveling, hiking and down time with her husband and their dogs, “Boss” a Yorkie-shih tzu mix, “Nikki” a Bouvier des Flanders, and “Dutton” a Norwich terrier.

Her four-legged children have taught her to slow down, enjoy the moment and “wag your tail each day”!
